There’s this one person who regularly comes in late, leaves early and takes longer breaks, am talking about working in office.
One day, I decided to confront this person with expectations vs reality and also to give a ‘gyan’ session on minimum working hours.
As soon as the person arrived in office, 2 hours late than normal start hours, I lashed my well rehearsed dialogues, “you are late, this won’t work here.” The reply came, “flooded roads and lot of traffic.” Guess I chose the wrong day to deliver. I said, “okay” and fled the scene.
